Julio C. Rodas Erazo Sr. age 91, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on March 15, 2026. Born in San Juan Opico, La Libertad, El Salvador, to mother Laura Erazo and father Antonio Rodas. Julio’s life was marked by his tenacity, humor, faith, discipline, creativity, resilience, and appreciation for life’s pleasures. He came to the United States in search of a better life. He was a hard worker who worked in various fields though mostly in construction/handyman. He found joy in many things, especially the rhythm and excitement of soccer, wrestling, and golf, whether watching a match or sharing spirited conversations about the game. Days began and ended with his trusted cup of coffee, a ritual he savored and rarely rushed. Music was a constant companion in his life - he had a special fondness for the timeless voices of Pedro Infante, Frank Sinatra, and Pavarotti, whose songs filled his home and heart. Julio also had a quirky sense of humor, often expressed through his love of comedy like the Three Stooges, Cantinflas, Jackie Chan, or Zorro, never missing a chance to share a laugh with family. He was an artist, often taking over the dining or living room and building beautiful extravagant nativity scenes, painted, and liked to build things. He imparted a lot of lessons to his children, through love and challenges that made them the people they are today. He loved his family. Julio is survived by his wife Norma Rodas, his children Matthew Rodas, Stephanie Rodas, Jessica Rodas, Salvador Rodas (preceded in death), Maria Christina Mejia, Julio Rodas Jr., Ana Mesa, and his grandchildren. His memory and impact will live on in the hearts of his family. He will rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Que Dios te bendiga papá. Te amamos
