Curtis "Curt" Ray Rentfro was born on July 27, 1959 in Topeka, Kansas to Charles (Charlie) and Carolyn Sue Rentfro. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from J.C. Harmon High School in 1978. Curt had four siblings. Connie Rentfro Marsh (George), Shane Rentfro (Kelly), Mike Cupp, and Melissa Cupp Moran. Curt served in the army from 1979 to 1984 and was stationed in Meintz, Germany. Curt also held jobs as a correctional officer at the Leads jail and the Cameron Penitentiary, followed by several years of service in the auto industry. Recently he was employed as a class A CDL driver. Curt attended Journey Church International and was a resident of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Curt was preceded in death by his mother and father. Curt is survived by his fiancé, Michelle Maxon, son Dustin and daughter-in-law Amber and their children Abe and Ally, son Jesse Rentfro, step-daughters Heather Shalz and Holly Maxon, siblings, many nieces, nephews and extended family members as well as friends who loved, adored, and admired Curt. A Celebration of Life for Curt will be held at Journey Church International, 1601 SW MO-150, n Lee's Summit, Missouri 64082
