Arthur Gallardo "Toots",71, passed away in Kansas City, Missouri on April 19th,2023.

Arthur “Toots” Gallardo,71, was born in Laredo, Texas on May 9th, 1951, to his loving parents Jose Gallardo and Antonia Cortez. Arthur grew up surrounded by a family that was energetic and full of love. During Arthur’s teenage years he graduated from Northeast High school in 1969. As an adult Arthur found his passion while working in the transportation sector. He was a proud city bus driver for 41 years, he especially enjoyed seeing and meeting new people daily during his many adventurous days on the road throughout the city. Arthur was a laid-back, family centric man that was well known for his love of The Kansas City Chiefs as well as The Kansas City Royals. He would often be found “kick backed” relaxing while enjoying a game paired with his favorite cold beverage “Budweiser Beer” or jamming to his favored 80’s music.

Arthur is survived by three amazing generations; his children Arthur Jr., Anthony and daughter Victoria, his wonderful 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

“Toots” will be missed by many as he leaves behind a great legacy and cherished memories that not even words can describe.
