Funeral Mass for Arturo Mejia Salas, 45, Kansas City, MO, will be at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO, followed by burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, MO. Arturo passed away Monday, February 11th, 2019 at his home in Kansas City, MO. He was born June 1st, 1974, in Mexico City, MX, son of Guillermo Mejia Navarrete and Cleotilde Salas. Arturo was an amazing dad, husband, son, brother, and friend. Always was a family-driven man who worked hard all his life, but loved even harder. No audience who came across him could deny the overwhelming charisma that radiated from his kind and tender heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling, rock music, and above all laughing. Heaven has gained an amazing angel, we will miss him dearly. Arturo is survived by his wife Paula Alicia Ontiveros Hernandez. Other survivors include his children, Armando Mejia Ontiveros, KCMO, and Maria Matzayani Mejia Ontiveros, KCMO; parents, Guillermo Mejia Navarrete and Cleotilde Salas, KCMO, siblings, Enrique Mejia and Jorge Mejia, KCMO.
